Mufti Derian meets King Salman in Saudi Arabia

Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdel Latif Derian met with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdel Aziz during a ceremony that was held at the Royal Court at the Mina Palace for those who performed the Hajj this year.

This as Mufti Derian also met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman.

In this context, the Mufti praised the efforts deployed by the Saudi government for the success of the pilgrimage's season.

Earlier, Derian received congratulatory phone calls on the occasion of Eid al-Adha from President Michel Aoun, Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri, Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai, Head of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council, Sheikh Abdel Amir Qabalan, Sheikh Akl of the Druze community Sheikh Naiim Hassan, in addition to MPs, Ministers and other religious and civil dignitaries.
