Stalemate over new Cabinet formation

The formation of a new Cabinet is still on hold during the Eid al-Adha holiday.

This as President Michel Aoun said that he will wait until the beginning of September and will then state “things as they really are.”

For his part, Speaker Nabih resumed his activity in Ain el-Tineh without tackling the Cabinet formation issue.

Meanwhile, talks are suspended in Bayt al-Wasat, awaiting for the return of Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri from abroad.
