Qabbani calls on EDL contract workers to refrain from offending or harming their colleagues
MP Mohammad Qabbani said on Sunday that the demands of the Electricité du Liban (EDL) contract workers are righteous, adding that efforts are being exerted to meet them.

Qabbani called for increasing the salaries of these workers immediately, and urged the contract workers to refrain from offending or harming the EDL’s tenants since, according to him, “they are not responsible for the performance and projects of the minister of energy”.

Qabbani explained that the EDL tenants are the contract workers’ colleagues, therefore “they must be respected and kept away from the dispute with the minister and his aides”. He stressed that we

“We must not fall in the trap of those trying to cause a clash between the tenants and contract workers”, he said.
