British Ambassador to Lebanon Chris Rampling stressed Thursday Britain’s commitment to all the joint projects with the Ministry of Interior, mainly in supporting the Internal Security Forces and the Lebanese municipalities hosting Syrian refugees.
During an acquaintance meeting after Rampling assumed his new position, Minister of Interior and Municipalities Nouhad al-Mashnouq expressed gratitude to the support provided by Britain to the Interior Ministry and its apparatuses.
Rampling asked about the issue of Beirut International Airport and Mashnouq said that the issue has ended, noting that a transparent military investigation has been launched to take the necessary measures.
