Adwan: Setting a date for issuing sentence in LF-LBCI case is huge achievement

Deputy head of the Lebanese Forces Georges Adwan said on Monday that setting a date for issuing a sentence in the Lebanese Forces-LBCI case "is a huge achievement, especially 11 years after filing the lawsuit."

Adwan’s comments were made outside the Justice Palace after the hearing proceeding in the case whereby he said that Chairman & CEO of the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation International LBCI Pierre Daher is using the channel for defamation.

“I will reply to all accusations in the court because our ethics do not allow us to do otherwise,” he concluded by saying.
