President Michel Aoun said that there is an urgent need to establish international institutions specialized in providing training in spreading the culture of dialogue between civilizations, religions and races, in order to restore peace.
In his address at the Francophone Summit in Armenia, Aoun noted that he presented to the United Nations Lebanon’s candidacy to become an official headquarter of the academy for human dialogue, hoping that this initiative will become a reality through reaching a multilateral agreement in this regard.
“For me, every language is a new human within the person and the more the languages one learns, the more humanely enriched he becomes,” he added, pointing out that the French language in Lebanon is akin to a mother language.
