Abandoned newborn found in Akkar

An abandoned newborn was found on Tuesday morning outside a house in the Akkar town of Hay al-Baher.

A police patrol transported the newborn to the governmental hospital in Halba where he was examined and appeared to be in good health.

This as investigations were launched in order to reveal the identity of his parents.
