Switzerland stresses support for Sleiman’s efforts

Lebanese President Michel Sleiman held discussions on Friday with Swiss Foreign Minister Didier Burkhalter, who reiterated Switzerland’s support for the President’s efforts in protecting Lebanon’s stability and the prevention of regional repercussions, citing Syria's ongoing conflict.

Separately, President Sleiman met with Lebanese-Syrian Higher Council Secretary General Nasri Khoury and discussed the latest developments on the Syrian scene and on the Lebanese-Syrian border.
