Safadi meets with Union Coordination Committee

A meeting was held on Monday between Finance Minister Mohammad Safadi and the Union Coordination Committee to review the Ministry’s proposal regarding the pay scale according to the recommendations of the ministerial committee.

Following the meeting, the head of the Teachers Syndicate, Nehme Mahfoud declared that the agreement with Labor Minister Salim Jreissati was not completely implemented in this regard, hoping that “this mistake will be corrected today or tomorrow before the meeting set for the ministerial committee on Wednesday”. This file is expected to be completely referred to the cabinet on Thursday to be settled, so the teachers could resume correction of the official state exams.
