Kataeb party leader meets British ambassador
Kataeb Party leader MP Sami Gemayel thanked on Tuesday the UK for "its deployed efforts in supporting Lebanon economically."
“We also thank the UK for supporting the Lebanese army,” Gemayel said following a meeting with British Ambassador to Lebanon Chris Rampling.

On another note, Gemayel stressed to Rampling his party’s desire to preserve the democratic system in the country.

For his part, Rampling noted that he tackled with Gemayel economy related issues, mainly Lebanon's need to carry out the urgent reforms, Brexit, and the recent British decision related to Hezbollah.
