MP Kanaan to LBCI: Everyone under guillotine if reforms not implemented
MP Ibrahim Kanaan said on Sunday that President Michel Aoun is adamant on completing the state’s budget and making reforms.
“A number of officials are also adamant on these issues, including Speaker Nabih Berri,” he stressed during an interview with LBCI’s Nharkom Said TV show.
Kanaan also noted that the country is facing "a dangerous economic and financial situation," adding however that this situation can be changed, "provided that reforms will not be lost in political bickering."
He called on officials to focus on the financial dossier in order to approve the state’s budget, adding that the electricity file is the priority of the state’s budget.
