Retired servicemen stage protest outside Grand Serail

Retired servicemen staged on Friday a sit-in outside the Grand Serail to protest possible cuts for their salaries.

The protesters said that the sit-in comes after leaked reports said that the Cabinet will continue “assaulting their rights.”

This as retired Major General Sami Rammah told LBCI that the rights of the retired servicemen are "a red line."

He vowed escalation that includes an open-ended strike and the closing of public and vital facilities.
