LBCI broadcasts exclusive interview with 11 Lebanese detainees
LBCI was successful in reaching the 11 Lebanese detainees currently held in the town of Aazaz. Aleppo.                 

Upon the crews arrival alongside 2 members of their families, the detainees confirmed that they are being well treated, refusing to be labeled as “kidnapped”. Ali Hassan Zgheib, one of the detainees even expressed his full-on support for the Syrian revolution dubbing it as a “revolution for freedom”.                

As for Ali Omar, another detainee, he called on the Lebanese government to recognize the Syrian opposition fighters.                

For his part, detainee Hussein Abbas denied the existence of terrorist groups or “mortazaqa” in Syria, even going so far as to call for the recognition of the Free Syrian Army.               

Detainee Abou Ali Saleh, stressed that they are being treated “as brothers”, adding that the kidnappers are not after a ransom, but are calling for freedom.                    
Detainee Abbas Hammoud confirmed that the Syrian Air force has leveled several homes. Commenting on the immobility of the Lebanese government, he requested that relatives in Lebanon escalate their movements asking for the resignation of Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati.                

Detainee Ali Tormos called on the Lebanese government to “demand their return”, adding that they are in “good health”.                 

Detainee Hassan Arzouni in turn stated that the Syrian people cannot be blamed for “asking freedom”. He added that the Lebanese people should hold mass demonstrations on the streets to “liberate the country from the regime’s grasp”.              

Detainee Abbas Chehayb in turn expressed hope that MP Okab Saqr “returns them back to their families”. He also called on the Servant of the two  Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz,Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani to aid in their release since the Lebanese government is “turning a deaf ear”.               

Chehayb went on to state the virtues of kidnapping mastermind “Abu Ibrahim” stating that the latter “fears more for them than he does his own men on the field”.              

“He treats us as a father would do his sons” he concluded.
