EDL: Countdown started to link power-generating vessels to grid
Électricité Du Liban announced on Saturday that it had issued an order to start dealing with the "ltd Company Chip Karpower" with which the ministry had earlier signed a contract.   

The contract was signed following the cabinet’s approval to lease two power-generating ships, one for al-Zouk port and another one for al-Jiyeh.    

The company added that the countdown started to link the power-generating barges to the grid.
