Hariri: A mistake cannot be solved with a similar mistake

Former PM Saad Hariri expressed his frustration and condemnation towards the kidnapping operations which targeted Lebanese nationals in Syria and foreign nationals in Lebanon during the past few days.

In a statement, Hariri stressed that kidnappings are completely unacceptable, referring to kidnappings conducted in order to exchange hostages, exert pressures or threaten for the release a Lebanese kidnapped in Syria.

“A mistake cannot be solved with a similar mistake”, he added.

In this context, Hariri warned against “hasty reactions” before even revealing the truths, noting that “blocking the airport road, al-Masnaa road or any road every time someone wants do demonstrate is dangerous and unacceptable”.
