Prime Minister Saad Hariri issued a memo stipulating the closure of public administrations, state institutions and municipalities for two days on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
“In accordance with decree number 15215, issued on the 27th of September 2009, and its amendments, which specifies official holidays and on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, public administrations, state institutions and municipalities for two days on August 10 and 11, based on the declaration of Dar al-Fatwa and the Supreme Shiite Council.”
Hariri also issued second memo stipulating the closure of public administrations, state institutions and municipalities on August 15, 2019 for the occasion of the Assumption of Virgin Mary day.
