Cabinet forms committee to discuss series of reforms and measures

Minister of Information Jamal al-Jarrah asserted on Monday that the Cabinet formed a committee presided by Prime Minister Saad Hariri to discuss the reforms and needed measures that must accompany the 2020’s state Budget.

AL-Jarrah’s comments were made after a Cabinet session dedicated to discuss the state’s draft Budget.

According to information, the committee is formed of Ministers Ghassan Hasbani, Wael Abou faour, Kamil Abou Sleiman, Mohamad Fneish, Mansour Bteish, Mohamad Chouccair and Adel Afiouni.

This as Hariri declared at the beginning of the session that he have a paper that includes a series of reforms and procedures that he will announce in the next few days.

Al-Jarrah also noted that discussion of some articles had been postponed, adding that Minister of Public Works submitted a report about Port of Beirut.
