Do the banks have the right to impose measures on the depositors without being imposed by law or circulars issued by Lebanon’s central bank and the Association of Banks in Lebanon?

 

This question was raised after citizens spoke about measures implemented by some banks during certain banking operations, mainly ones related to cash withdrawals and dollar exchange.
