President Aoun says those who promote bad currency must be prosecuted

President Michel Aoun met on Monday with a delegation from the Beirut Bar Association headed by its chief Melhem Khalaf at the Baabda Presidential Palace.

Following the meeting, Aoun said that the Lebanese people will witness what satisfies it in the next stage."

He also noted that Lebanon’s movement “has removed a lot of red lines.”

On another note, Aoun called for prosecuting those who “promote bad national currency in accord to laws.

For his part, Khalaf asserted commitment to Lebanon’s Constitution and constitutional institutions and its symbolism.
