Frangieh says participation in upcoming Cabinet is undecided yet

Head of Marada Movement Sleiman Frangieh said on Tuesday that he did not take a decision yet about his participation in the upcoming Cabinet.

Frangieh’s comments were made during a press conference whereby he noted that he is not obstructing its formation process.

“Some sides want to obtain the blocking third which was previously used to obstruct decisions,” he added.

Frangieh accused Free Patriotic Movement head caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs Gebran Bassil of obstructing the government’s formation with his “greediness.”

“President Michel Aoun needs real allies and friends who stand beside him and not people who are destroying his project,” he noted.

Frangieh concluded by stressing importance of fighting corruption and restoring the looted funds.
