New Government Holds First Meeting
The newly formed Lebanese government presided by Prime Minister Hassan Diab held its first meeting on Wednesday at Baabda Palace and was chaired by President Michel Aoun.

A meeting between Aoun, PM Diab, and Speaker Nabih Berry was held before the government was convened.

During the session, the Cabinet focused on forming a ministerial committee responsible for drafting the ministerial statement of the new government.

The committee consists of Prime Minister Hassan Diab, the Deputy Prime Minister, and Ministers: Ghazi Wazni, Nassif Heitti, Marie Claude Najem, Raoul Nehmeh, Dimianos Kattar, Manal Abdel Samad, Varte Ohanian, Talal Hawat, and Ramzi Mechrafieh.

The committee will hold its first meeting on Friday at 11:00 AM in the Serail.
