LAF arrests "Antar Karaki", following series of raid operations
The Lebanese Army succeeded on Saturday evening in arresting “Antar Karaki” in the Beirut southern suburb of al-Kafaat. Karaki opened fire at an army patrol late on Friday in the region of Ghbayreh.         

Cautious calm prevailed on Saturday over Ghbayreh region where the Lebanese Army carried on intensive security measures, searching for wanted people.            

Karaki is involved in the kidnapping of Youssef Beshara on Bsalim road.

An LAF troop clashed on Friday evening with a number of militants in Ghbayreh during the pursuit of Karaki, when gunmen opened fire at the patrol which led to the injury of a number of army members, including two officers.              

LAF units tightened the noose on the region where they expected he found refuge.
