On Saturday, around 7:30 pm, and while on of FPM leader Michel Aoun’s three convoys got hit by gunshots while passing in Sidon. When the incident happened, General Michel Aoun was still in Jezzine and immediately changed the track of his convoy while coming back to Beirut. The vehicle that got hit during the shooting is a BMW X5. 4 security members were riding it and the driver might have got shot if the bullet did not stick in the back door on the right. Sources told LBCI that several bullets were shot but only one hit the vehicle. The public prosecution in the South continued on Sunday the investigations in the case of the assassination attempt which targeted one of the convoys of MP Michel Aoun in Sidon on Saturday night.
