Ferzli to LBCI: Orthodox Gathering proposal topples culture of dependency
Former Deputy Speaker Elie Ferzli told Nharkom Said on Sunday that the Orthodox Gathering’s proposal on the electoral law would “topple the culture of dependency and the 1960s electoral law that violates coexistence.”

Ferzli stressed the necessity to abide by the Lebanese constitution, considering that the Orthodox proposal expanded the idea of dismantling sects by adopting proportional representation for every sect.

Ferzli called on the head of the Future bloc Fouad Siniora to sit at the dialogue table in order to deal “in depth” with the fears of other parties, considering that fears must be common.
