Gemayel: Where is sovereignty when authorities are denied access to a blast site?
"How can one talk about sovereignty when authorities are being denied access to the site of an explosion that could have cost lives?  What kind of sovereignty is this?” Kataeb MP Sami Gemayel wondered on Sunday, referring to Hezbollah’s weapons cache that exploded in northern Bekaa.

A weapons cache belonging to Hezbollah exploded in northern Bekaa earlier this week, killing at least 9 people and injuring many.

Gemayel told Kataeb’s cadres in north Lebanon that ample proof about sizable parts of Lebanon becoming outside state sovereignty presented itself with the blast in Hezbollah's weapons' cache. “Even then, judicial investigators were denied access under false Hezbollah security pretexts”, he said.
