Woman kills husband over Television dispute

A Russian woman from the city of Tula stabbed her husband and beat him to death with an axe following a dispute over TV channels.

The couple quarreled because each one of them wanted to watch a different TV show. The dispute evolved, prompting the woman to attack her husband, stabbing him and beating him with an axe. The man died of his wounds.

If convicted, the women will be sentenced to 15 years in prison. It is noteworthy that while motives of murder among couples are many, crimes of passion and marital jealousy remain the most common.
