Salameh to participate in Wednesday’s cabinet session

A meeting was held on Friday at the Grand Serail, between PM Najib Mikati, Finance Minister Mohammad Safadi, Telecommunications Minister Nicolas Sehanoui and Banque Du Liban Governor Riad Salameh, where they discussed the funding of the pay scale.

It was later agreed that Salameh should attend the cabinet session expected to be held on Wednesday.

The Turkish ambassador to Lebanon Inan Ozyildiz also visited the Grand Serail and reminded the Lebanese leaders of the efforts exerted by the Turkish authorities to release journalist Fidaa Itani. On the remaining Lebanese abductees in Syria, he stressed that his country is sparing no effort to release them, adding that he has no further information on the subject.
