Judicial Council follows up Bahsas explosion

The Judicial Council will be holding a session this afternoon under the chairmanship of the Public Prosecutor Judge Jean Fahed to follow up the trial of the accused persons in the bombing case in Bahsas locality.               

A Lebanese, Saudi, and seven Palestinians remain accused for the blowing up of a bus carrying Lebanese army soldiers in September 2008 in Tripoli.                     

The death penalty was demanded for Lebanese Abdel-Ghani Jawhar, Saudi national Obeid al-Kufeil Abdel Rahman and Palestinians Ghazi Abdallah, Abdel Rahman Awad, Khaled al-Jaber, Alaa Mehrez, Mohammad Azzam, Hamza Qassem and Osama al-Shehabi by then Public Prosecutor Said Mirza in 2010.
