Cabinet session kicks off at the Baabda presidential palace

Cabinet kicked off at the Baabda Presidential Palace on Wednesday afternoon with 96 items on its agenda.

Most notably the appointment of Lahoud Lahoud as Director General of ceremonies and public relations for Cabinet. The latter will remain at his current position in the Ceremony Directorate of the presidential palace. Mrs. Sana Serawan will be promoted from the second category to the first category and appointed Director General of the Technical Department at the office of the prime minister.

Cabinet will also discuss the water bill deferred from the previous session.

At the beginning of the session, President Sleiman informed the ministers that he had postponed the national dialogue session until the 7th of January 2013.

Prior to the cabinet, President Michel Sleiman held a meeting with PM Najib Mikati.
