EU ambassador: We are highly committed to Lebanon’s stability

Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutros Rai met on Tuesday with the European Union ambassador to Lebanon, Angelina Eichhorst and discussed the latest developments.

Following the meeting, Eichhorst said that the EU is highly committed to Lebanon as a stable, sovereign and united country, stressing the importance of meeting the aspirations of the Lebanese people to a fair political representation, achieved through free and just elections held as scheduled.
