Mikati presents solution proposal to Mufti Qabbani

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati stressed on Thursday that he presented to the Mufti of the Republic Sheikh Mohammad Rashid Qabbani a solution proposal regarding the elections of the members of the Higher Islamic Council.                

Following his meeting with Qabbani, Mikati said that the elections must be held within a period of two to three months while the current council continues its normal work during this period to prevent any void.
