Mikati stresses necessity of speeding up judicial files completion

Prime Minister Najib Mikati met on Wednesday with Public Prosecutor Judge Hatem Madi who briefed him on the progress made in some judicial cases mainly that of Michel Samaha, MP Boutros Harb in addition to the cases of Islamist detainees, counterfeit medications and sick livestock.     

Mikati stressed the necessity of speeding up the completion of these files.     

He also urged the Higher Relief Committee to intensify the work of bodies in charge of scanning damages resulting from the clashes which rocked Tripoli’s Bab el Tebbaneh and to speed up the payment of compensations.      

On another note, Mikati met with Deputy Prime Minister Samir Mokbel with whom he discussed the latest developments as well as Minister Ahmad Karami.
