Patriarch Rai calls for respecting the rule of Lebanese Constitution

The Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutros Rai called on Sunday on everyone to respect the rule of the Lebanese Constitution regarding the drafting of a new electoral law, through preserving coexistence equally between the Christians and the Muslims, and proportionally between the confessions and the regions.

On the other hand, Rai stressed the need that the government must take the necessary preventive measures so that receiving refugees and displaced people will not turn into a time bomb on the security, political, social and economic level.
