Mikati to Aoun: The law gives the PM clear, explicit powers

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati replied on Tuesday to the statements launched by MP Michel Aoun who tackled the issue of the constitutional powers regarding the case of telecom data, stressing that the responsibility is a commitment to defend right and truth. He noted that the available texts give the Prime Minister clear and explicit powers that cannot be subject to interpretations.

In this context, Mikati issued a statement whereby he included the text containing the articles defining the powers of the Prime Minister according to the law number 140.
