Private Educational Institutions: Monday 25th of February normal school day

The Union of Private Educational Institutions in Lebanon denounced the language of threats, intimidation and escalatory attitudes adopted by head of the private school teachers association Nehme Mahfoud, holding whoever participates in these positions responsible for the loss of the school year and “for any harm sustained by any member of the educational family, whether students, teachers or parents”.

However, the union issued a statement following a special meeting, whereby it stressed that Monday the 25th of February will be a normal school day, calling on the government and the security forces to protect the educational institutions.
