REPORT: UCC to escalate next week
         
The Union Coordination Committee (UCC), headed by the head of the School Teachers Union Nehme Mahfoud staged a sit-in on Friday outside the Labor Ministry.       

In this context, Mahfoud asked officials to abide by their commitments and promises and called for another sit-in to be held on Saturday in Dekwaneh.         

In addition, Mahfoud stressed that escalatory measures will start as of Monday, adding that the sit-in will involve all private schools and administrations.        

Addressing Finance Minister Mohammad Safadi, Mahfoud said: “We are not tired of sit-ins and our measures will lead to a comprehensive strike in all the country.”
