Negotiations between Bank Association and banking sector employees union fail

The union of the banking sector employees declared on Thursday the failure of the negotiations held with the Banks Association over a series of demands.

The Union held a press conference where it addressed the Banks Association, the Labor Ministry and the Governorship of Banque Du Liban, saying that they can no longer be patient and that “the era of dialogue has ended”.

In this context, the Union called on the banking sector employees in the North to hold a sit-in outside Banque Du Liban, Tripoli Branch, on Saturday at 1:30 pm.
