Future Bloc calls for raising complaint against continuous Syrian violations

The Future Bloc denounced on Tuesday the attack against the Sunni clerics in Khandak al-Ghamik and Shiyah assuring that it aims at creating an inter-Muslim strife in the country.             

In a statement issued after its weekly meeting, the Future Bloc called on the cabinet to refer this issue to the judicial council and held the state accountable for 'turning a blind eye' on those holding weapons.                                   

As for the Syrian shelling on the Northern Lebanese borders, the Bloc expressed astonishment regarding the cabinet's silence and called for raising a complaint before the Arab League and the European Union that includes the continuous violations against Lebanese territories.                               

The Future Bloc added that they have witnessed various Syrian attempts to blow up the situation in Lebanon and asked Lebanese citizens to be cautious in the face of conspiracies and attempts of sedition.       

As for the electoral file, the Bloc reiterated its stance in regards to holding the elections on their constitutional due date and stressed that its deputies are open to any electoral proposal that enhances coexistence.
