Israel reopens border crossings with Gaza

Agence France Presse quoted the spokesman for the Israeli defense ministry unit in charge of all civilian affairs in the Palestinian territories as saying that Israel reopened on Friday a crossing into the Gaza Strip to deliver goods.

The official added that the crossing has been closed for several days in response to a rocket fired on Sunday from the Palestinian territory which hit southern Israel, while US Secretary of State John Kerry was visiting the region to hold talks with Israeli and Palestinian leaders.

No damages or casualties were caused by the rocket fire.
