REPORT: Sidon students run for right, peace and environment

At least 1500 students from the schools of Sidon and neighboring towns gathered on Sunday in a Lebanese-Palestinian marathon under the slogan: “Sidon runs for right, peace and environment”.
The participants kicked off their race from the civil defense center in Riad al-Solh Street and ended it in Rafik Hariri Sports City at Sidon’s northern entrance.

This event was organized by Sidon’s municipality and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), in cooperation with the Italian Cooperation Office and the Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development.
