Lebanese citizen kills his mother for financial issues

The body of 58-year-old citizen “Malika Brich Moursel” was found on Friday morning inside her house in the Chouf town of Semqanieh.

Later in the day, a patrol of the Internal Security Forces’ Information Branch arrested 36-year-old Malek Moursel, the victim’s son, in Ain Zhelta.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the detainee killed his mother due to financial issues.
