Foucher addresses a message to French nationals in Lebanon
Ambassador of France Bruno Foucher, sent on Monday a message for the French nationals in Lebanon to respect the strict measures adopted by the Lebanese government to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

"We are now living an exceptional period where we are all asked to make efforts. The Lebanese government, on Sunday, March 5, took strict measures which we consider responsible and adequate to fight the spread of coronavirus," said Foucher.

"I know these measures are difficult, but I am asking you to respect them as they are today the sole deterrent to the quick spread of the virus," he stressed.

“Facing this world war as President Macron dubbed it, we French and Lebanese must stand side by side in order to win,” the ambassador added.
Foucher also noted that France was “the first country to send medical equipment to protect against the Coronavirus to Lebanon on March 9.”
