New batch of AstraZeneca vaccines delivered to Lebanon through COVAX
Lebanon received on Monday a new batch of Coronavirus AstraZeneca vaccines through the COVAX facility.
The new batch includes 129600 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
This as Caretaker Minister of Health Hamad Hassan said that recent studies showed the effectiveness of AstraZeneca vaccine against the Delta variant which “we suspect is the main driver of the new wave of infections in Lebanon.”
