Abou Charaf: 60% of Lebanese had not received their jabs yet
Head of Lebanese Order of Physicians Charaf Abou Charaf urged on Wednesday the Lebanese people to receive the Covid-19 vaccine and the booster shots, adding that 60% of Lebanese had not received their jabs yet.

“It’s a very worrying thing,” he added.

“This level of fragility amid Covid-19 and the new rapidly spreading Omicron variant drive us to believe that we will see a great strain on hospitals and medical staff, as well as a return to a complete closure, similar to some European countries that have recently imposed a lockdown."

Abou Charaf addressed those who are still skeptical about the vaccine by saying that it has been scientifically proven that the complications of the vaccine and death rates are far less than the complications of contracting the virus.
