The Democratic Gathering leader MP Walid Jumblatt declared on Saturday the candidacy of Bilal Abdallah for the Sunnite seat in the region of Chouf.

Jumblatt’s comments were made during a press conference at the al-Moukhtara whereby he added that 70% of the parliamentary candidates will be from the party.

He also voiced hopes to make electoral alliances with the Free Patriotic Movement, Lebanese Forces, Kataeb, Future Movement, Muslim Brotherhood, AMAL Movement, the National Bloc and the independent candidates.
