State Min. Kanso to LBCI: Violence will have a backlash on Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood

State Minister Ali Kanso stressed on Monday that the Egyptian people have been characterized with dynamism through the ouster of former President Hosni Mubarak and the toppling of President Mohammed Morsi.

“The Muslim Brotherhood’s rule has failed in Egypt, Tunisia and Libya,” Kanso said.

In an interview with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV Show, he noted that the Muslim Brotherhood members “are trying to save a place for themselves” through violence.

“No deal has been reached between the new regime and the Brotherhood since the latter was denied participation in power,” Kanso added.

“Violence will have a backlash on the Brotherhood while trials will take a long time,” he concluded.
