Pakradouni told LBCI’s Nharkom Said that Lebanese Armed Forces agreed to a 24-hour ceasefire in order to assist civilians and transport the wounded out of the town.
Pakradouni also mentioned that armed groups aimed at taking control over Arsal, emphasizing that LAF soldiers thwarted their attempt.
He also mentioned that the situation in Arsal should be the cornerstone for a project aimed at controlling the presence of Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
