El Hajj Hassan: Agricultural products a source of pride for Lebanon

Agriculture Minister Hussein El Hajj Hassan said that Lebanon made great progress during the last two years. El Hajj Hassan stressed that “laboratories have been upgraded, pesticide residues in the plants have been minimized and pesticides have been replaced with other eco-friendly chemicals”.

“We will not hesitate to inform international organizations of any potential disease. We are open to receive their advice in this regard to prevent the disease from turning into a pandemic”, El Hajj Hassan added.

During his meeting with a technical delegation from the Jordanian Ministry of Agriculture headed by the ministry’s Secretary General Radi al-Tarawina, El Hajj Hassan stressed that the Lebanese can be proud of the high quality and safety of Lebanon’s agricultural products.
