Directly after Judge Fadi Sawan issued a decision to release army general Nidal Daou, Public Prosecutor Judge Ghassan Oweidat issued a request to appeal the decision in order to prevent the outbreak of further repercussions related to the case of Alaa Abou Fakher’s killing.
