Scholz: Ceasefire in Gaza appears more realistic

On Wednesday, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that a ceasefire in Gaza to allow more humanitarian aid to reach Palestinians appears more realistic, but he warned against false hope.

He added that the Palestinian Authority must be reformed.

Scholz also said in a speech to the German parliament that Russia is not as strong as it may seem and that Berlin will continue to support Ukraine.
